Watermelon Monthly Wrap # 2
Good morning/afternoon/evening Warriors,
It’s been a while since my last wrap.
So much has happened since I last wrote so it’s been hard to summarise my highlights!
I went to Sardinia in September (in this wrap, I’m a bit late but I’m still reflecting on the last of the summer ‘22 memories!)
LISTENING
This Andrew Huberman podcast episode really stood out.
A tough listen for those of us who consume alcohol on a regular basis but an important one!
GRATITUDE
“THE MINDFUL MORNING URBAN RETREAT”
WE DID IT! 25th of September is a date to remember.
We made it happen and it was so beautiful to have so many wonderful women in the same room cultivating time and space for themselves to rest and relax and be in community.
Thank you Holly for making it such a beautiful experience!
READING
Last month I read BREATH by James Nestor given to me by my friend Claire. A life changing book.
Probably one of the most interesting books I’ve read this year!
Nose breathing is the secret to a healthier life.
TASTING
My Sardinian pasta highlight was “Spaghetti con Bottarga” Bottarga is a rare Sardinian delicacy. Made from dried, cured fish roe sacks of tuna. Sounds weird but oh so delicious, especially in pasta!
PIECE OF THE WEEK
Stay Close To Anything That Makes You Feel Alive
—Hafez
This sentence is a reminder to ask yourself, when do I feel most alive? Who do I feel most alive with? Where am I when I feel most alive? I find these useful questions to tend to and keep in our hearts.
Thanks for reading. What do you feel grateful for? What did you enjoy last week?
Email me or DM me to let me know last week’s highlights.
