Watermelon Weekly Wrap #12

Hello Warriors,
Happy New Week and Happy New Month!

I hope June is treating you well.

For this new week and month, my aim is to work on the concept of SIMPLICITY.

To make my life simpler in every aspect.

Seems simple but it’s not always easy ;)

Sometimes, I like to overcomplicated and overanalyse.

This image makes me relaxed. It makes me think that the possibilities are endless if we can TRUST

LISTENING

This week I listened to a lot of different podcasts!

Really enjoyed consuming audible only content.

What have you been listening to?

Since I loved Best Friend Therapy so much, I finally began “How to Fail” by Elizabeth day and this episode really shifted my mindset. Powerful, uplifting, inspiring and harrowing all at once.

Please listen to this episode if you haven’t already, it’s mind-altering material.

This Twixmas Bonus episode with Clemency Burton-Hill explains so eloquently the fragility of life.

If you’re looking for some scientific backed info about how to make your life better listen to this Rich Roll podcast featuring Andrew Huberman. (below)

TASTING

This week, was a week of leftover and finishing all leftovers.

My favourite meal of the week was Sunday night.

Roaster butternut squash, fried cod, grilled baby gem lettuce with Anchovy Dressing (don’t diss until you give it a try!) & Buttered Leaks. Delicious! For dessert we had grilled pears topped with a walnut and honey glaze.

GRATITUDE

I am grateful to have a job that I love, supporting people to achieve their goals and reminding them that they are strong and that anything is possible.

READING

I started this great book 101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think by Brianna Wiest.

I already have underlined a crazy amount of quotes!

Featuring one below for “Piece of the Week”

PIECE OF THE WEEK

“It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking rather than think your way into a new way of acting, so do one little thing today and let the momentum build. And thank whatever force within you that knows there’s something bigger for you — the one that’s pushing you to be comfortable with less”

-Brianna Wiest (101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think")

Thanks for reading. What do you feel grateful for? What did you love last week?

Email me or DM me to let me know last week’s highlights.
