Watermelon Weekly Wrap #14

Hello Warriors,
Happy Monday!

This weeks’ highlights include a lot of listening, so stick on your headphones and try out one of the podcasts below. I have one for whatever your mood is ;)

Continuing with the peace element, I am sharing a picture of our roof in Rome, I miss my family and this place is one of my happy places where I feel completely at home.

LISTENING

This week, I have a few different choices.

1) If you’re feeling like you need to regain some control over you nutrition try this episode

#285 Why Intermittent Fasting Works with Dr Jason Fung, Feel Better, Live More with Dr Rangan Chatterjee.

2) If you need a bit of non-sensical fun, listen to Joanne McNally and Vogue Williams poke fun at each other in their latest episode here I love how lighthearted and hilarious this podcast is!

3) If you want to learn about sleep, you cannot skip over this Matt Walker Episode, YouTube video below.

Joe Rogan Experience #1109 - Matthew Walker

4) Last but not least, if you’re looking for some inspiration to practice more meditation, enhance your life and feel more grateful, this Gisele Bundchen’s episode on Jay Shetty is unmissable. YouTube below!

Gisele Bündchen ON: How to Overcome Depression and Anxiety Through Meditation

GRATITUDE

I am feeling so grateful for the summer, the longer and brighter days, the park days, the tan, the fun in the sun. I am also feeling gratitude for having calmer days and more of a balance with work.

READING

My client Louise really kindly gifted me The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**K by and I finished it really quickly because it was so useful, ironic and very funny. Thank you Louise. I can’t wait to implement the lessons into my life!

PIECE OF THE WEEK

“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your new identity.”

“You should be far more concerned with your current trajectory than with your current results.”

-James Clear

I love this because if you’re feeling a little bit unsure of where you are, remember that what you do today, even if it’s small, could be leading you to the future that you want, to the future person you want to be or it could do the opposite, steer you away. I am thinking more about the greater goals I have in my life and what that means on a day to day basis. I hope this helps you reflect on your life too.

Thanks for reading. What do you feel grateful for? What did you love last week?
