Watermelon Weekly Wrap #16
Hello Warriors,
Happy Monday!
I am writing from Rome, it’s been wonderful to be with my family.
LISTENING
This week, I was hardly on my own for one minute, I loved being with my family but I do miss having at least an hour a day of alone time every day where I can meditate or practice some yoga or read. Sometimes, when we lay on the sand, I read my book, that was blissful. But when I’m with people, I mostly just want to be part of the conversations… I get conversation FOMO haha
I love this piece of music below I came across on Instagram.
GRATITUDE
I am feeling so grateful for this time with my sister who has been through a lot this year.
To be with her in person was so needed and a long time coming.
It was great to spend time with my granny Sofia, my dad Marco, my mam Judy and my cousins Ben and Estelle who were over as well. Lots of family time, so good for the heart!
READING
My lovely client Aasha who runs a box of stories gifted me a box of books - so kind of her. I finished “Little Faith” by Nickolas Butler. I loved the descriptive writing and that every chapter began with a detailed piece about the nature around the main character Lyle’s story, it was grounding to read all about the environment of the story in such elaborate and wholesome detail as the seasons change throughout the book.
