Follow Along High Impact HIIT

Hello my friends,

Here is a super fun HIIT session for you to break up the week.

If you are wondering, HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training which means we are working at our maximum effort, but only for a short time. This whole workout will only take 20 minutes.

We will be working for 30 seconds and then taking a 30 second break after each move.

You will see in the video that there are five exercises, in the bottom right corner you will see a preview of what is coming next. We will be repeating all five movement patterns for a total of x4 rounds.

Please remember to warm up before the workout and cool down at the end, preferably for 5 minutes each time to get the joints ready and prevent injury.

If you need some ideas for warm ups, here is a video that might be useful:

CAUTIONS:

if you have any injuries or are currently suffering from any illness, please consult your doctor and physiotherapist before you try this workout. This video will be high impact (more jolting movements on the joints) so if you are a beginner or have trouble with your knees and/or hips, it might be better to go for a lower impact option to start. Perhaps you could try my last video “Low Impact HIIT”, here is the link:

With today’s workout, we will be targeting the whole body and it will be a sweaty one!

No equipment is required other than a mat, sono comfy workout gear and your lovely self.

Grab your water and let’s get to work!

I hope you enjoy this session.

Stay strong,

x

Romana
