THE SIXTH CHAKRA - AJNA (Third Eye Chakra)

This Chakra represents intuition and is located in the area between the eyebrows, this centre relates to inspiration, insight and balance.

In harmony with this centre, we learn to trust and develop our own inner vision.

On a physical level, this Chakra relates to knowledge and connects us to our spiritual power and also helps us experience deep understanding of our inner and outer worlds.

The 6th Chakra can present in the emotional body as mystical visions, clairvoyance, the ability to observe Chakras and auras, precognition and out-of-body experiences.

When our Third Eye Energy Centre is in excess, we may experience psychological distress and if under-active we can feel indecisive, procrastinate, or become fearful of the unknown. When is is closed off, it can bring confusion, uncertainty, cynicism, and pessimism.

When we are in harmony with this centre, we can rely on strong decision making and discover a deep sense of inner knowing.
