Watermelon Weekly Wrap #19

Hello Warriors,
Happy New Week and Happy New Month!

Love when it coincides! August is my favourite month because… Surprise surprise…

It’s my birthday month. Wohooo!

One thing I am very grateful from July is bringing yoga back outside. It’s been blissful.

So grateful for my fab friend and client Jigna who suggested Yoga in Clissold and the lovely Louise who has given me the Expedia opportunity. Such lovely people and the setting is so dreamy on the terrace overlooking London!

LISTENING

I am still listening to a lot of the Huberman Lab podcast but this week season 2 Episode 1 “People-Pleasing - Why do we do it? Is it really nice to be nice? How do we say no?” of Best Friend Therapy really helped me. I need to set more boundaries and Emma and Elizabeth talk all things people pleasing and how to politely and kindly not do what we don’t want to do. Listen to this episode now… I predict you will learn lots!

Also compiling a lot of Yoga Playlists recently and here is a highlight of mine. Love it so much! Keep singing it! haha yoga music is my jam. You can listen to my latest yoga playlist here if you’re interested in getting your zen on from the comfort of your own home ;)

GRATITUDE

Grateful for our friends getting together and Canoeing all the way down the River Lee. We paddled hard and saw a lot of cute boats, swans and ducks!

We went with Moo Canoes in Hackney Wick :) Great experience

I am so excited and grateful for the yoga Warriors that joined my Yoga in Clissold Park sessions that started last Saturday 30th at 10 am.

Next one is Tuesday (tomorrow) 2nd August 7:30 pm! Would love to have you there.

BOOK HERE for tomorrow…

READING

I’ve been reading Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? by Dr Julie Smith reccomended by my friend Omar this week… Loving it! Thanks O.

I’m only at the beginning but lots of great advice in it already.

TASTING

Still obsessed with this crispy fried egg with Zatar on Dusty Knuckle toasted sourdough and the avo guac I am still obsessed with!

PIECE OF THE WEEK

Today’s piece of the week is just one sentence and is from Dr Julie Smith’s

Why Has Nobody Ever Told Me This Before?

What would I do if I was at my best?

Thanks for reading. What do you feel grateful for? What did you love last week?

Email me or DM me to let me know last week’s highlights.
