Watermelon Weekly Wrap #22

Good morning/afternoon/evening Warriors,

Happy Monday!

How are we enjoying August? I am in disbelief that it is drawing to an end… Where does time go?! My favourite month…. Gone! In a flash!

LISTENING

For today, I wanted to start this week with a poem reading. I adore E E Commings. The rhythm, the melody, the way he hits each consonant. The words he pronounces, pure beauty.

GRATITUDE

Grateful to be able to hold space for wonderful yogis. Four classes this week and so much bliss! If you would like to practice with me, get yourself booked in Tuesday evening or Saturday morning :) see buttons below.

I am so excited to be teaching Yoga in Clissold Park this Tuesday 23rd 7:30 pm (tomorrow) and Saturday 27th 10 am before heading to All Points’ East. First festival in a loooong time!

READING

This week I’m starting STRONGER by Porna Bell, gifted to be by my wonderful friends :) Looking forward to getting stuck in!

TASTING

This week, we discovered Quality Wines at Farringdon, thank you Hana! It was such a mouthwatering experience.

The famous Lobster Roll. Only one word for it: incredible!!! Crispy on the outside and buttery and sweet on the inside. They only do 25 per night, honoured that we consumed 12% of that special number haha!

Mozzerella di bufala drowned in olive oil, does life get any better than this? Honestly have never eaten good mozzarella di bufala outside of Italy, very impressed!

PIECE OF THE WEEK

Since I still have E E Cumming’s voice in my mind so couldn’t help to share one more poem.

I dedicate this to my love <3

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in

my heart)i am never without it(anywhere

i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done

by only me is your doing,my darling)

i fear

no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want

no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)

and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant

and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows

(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows

higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Thanks for reading. What do you feel grateful for? What did you enjoy last week?

Email me or DM me to let me know last week’s highlights.
