Watermelon Weekly Wrap #3

Hello Warriors,
Happy New Week, New Month and New WWW #3!

This past week was full of treats. Acroyoga, Ramen, Walks & Art.

Columbia Road Flower Market

Feeling Grateful for all London has to offer!

Every week, I will round up my favourite reads, what I’m eating, what I’m loving and who/what I am feeling grateful for.

Perhaps you could then send me on what you’ve been enjoying!? I would love to know.

EXPERIENCING

I really enjoyed the “Surrealism Beyond Borders” exhibition at the Tate. You can see what it was about here. Check out the paintings that really caught my eye below.

On Sunday I went to a brilliant Acro Class with Jaqui in Central. I had not practiced Acro in a long time and I was really keep to get back into it! Loved it. Acro people are always so fun.

Check out the class and what Jaqui offers here:

TASTING

I had this delicious coffee on Tuesday. Café con Leche from Meghans.

Will be getting this again!

On Sunday I had this scrumptious Ramen pictured below on Pritchard’s road.

£10 Sunday deal, cannot go wrong!

Check out their website

I also had to squeeze in a visit to the Dusty Knuckle Bakery in Dalston and got the “Sticky Bun” below. So tasty.

My boyfriend’s mam Mandy was over so we had to take her to all our favourite places!

GRATITUDE

Feeling so much gratitude for a full weekend off, exploring London and the Tate Surrealist Exhibit.

Feeling gratitude for my clients who show up and do the work, every week.

Feeling grateful for Mandy inspiring us to see London with fresh eyes and to have the weekend off work for the first time in a loooong time!

Also grateful for this goat below, in Haggerston Park for being the cutest and letting me pet it. Calling it Lila.

After the reggae singer Lila Iké whom I love!

PIECE OF THE WEEK

This week’s piece comes from a brilliant classic I watched on Saturday night.

“O Brother Where Art Thou”

Tommy Johnson: I had to be up at their crossroads last midnight, to sell my soul to the devil
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well ain’t it a small world, spiritually speaking. Pete and Delmar have just been baptized and saved. I guess I’m the only one that remains unaffiliated.

Also absolutely loved the Soggy Bottom boys’ rendition of “I am a man of constant sorrow” George Clooney at his absolute best. Listen here

Email me or DM me to let me know last week’s highlights.
